What We Offer
Good manners are not automatic - they are
taught. Child-care professionals recommend teaching them to children at an early age.
Manners are not just about which fork to use, they are about fostering
respectfulness and teaching responsibility. What better
environment to begin teaching young children basic manners, etiquette and social
skills then a Childrens Day Care Facility. Teachers and parents can
also take advantage of summer break as a perfect opportunity to offer our programs to children between the ages of
3-12.
No more searching! Our training kits provide a simple and straightforward, yet extensive instructors
curriculum with lesson plans, activities and reproducible participant
worksheets tailored to meet your needs. These
programs are specifically designed to engage young children and hold their attention as
they learn proper life skills. We have three training kits designed to teach young children
proper manners and social skills. No special training is
required; simply follow the instructors lesson plan. Its that simple.
Our first training kit, Macaroni
and Please, uses a series of thirty 10
minute lessons that teach manners, etiquette and social skills to children
ages 3-7. These lessons may be
expanded in length up to one hour at the instructors discretion through use of the
suggested activities, worksheets and practice exercises designed as reinforcement tools.
Typically, for young children ages 3-7, one to two lessons per day are sufficient,
and the entire program lasts between 2-4 weeks.
Our second kit, Proud
to be Polite, caters to children ages
5-12. This program concentrates on teaching Respect, First
Impressions and Communication Skills to help optimize a child's social
confidence. "Proud to be Polite" is a perfect supplement to both
the "Macaroni and Please" and "Confidence is Cool "
programs.
Our third kit, Confidence is
Cool, is designed for children ages 8-12. It gives young people the confidence, basic social IQ and situational
etiquette skills they need to build character, contribute positively and feel good about
themselves. This program may be offered in five full days of camp or organized into
shorter sessions at the instructors discretion.
It's
no wonder that we're the number one choice of parents and caregivers. No
other programs offer such time-proven materials. Please allow
the children in your life to join the thousands of others across North America
who have
already benefited from these programs and books. Allow us to demonstrate that Manners
Matter in the USA.
